New Year’s Resolution – Do something legal

We have a tradition when the new calendar year comes around to make resolutions.  Most of these resolutions revolve around getting healthier, living better or being more productive (just to name a few).  With my informal survey, I haven’t heard anyone resolve to do anything legal.  Maybe I think differently than most people since I work for a law firm, but why not do something legally beneficial for yourself and your loved ones.  What I’m talking about here is updating your will of course or, for some, getting a will.  A friend of mine once told me that he “finally felt like a full fledged adult” when he got his will done.  However it makes you feel its a good idea to have a will or get your will reviewed periodically.

We’ve written articles before about how often you should update your will and questions people frequently have about wills.  I know that a lot of people like to do their own research, but its worth talking to an attorney.  We’ve made this easy by offering free initial consultations.  You can call our office at 253-931-0332 or fill out the form below.  You’ll be glad you did.
