Edward joined WeierLaw as a Litigation Attorney in 2023, bringing years of experience in personal injury. Edward has been called to serve others throughout his education and career. He brings this passion with him to WeierLaw to advocate for our clients.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Edward graduated from the University of Washington and worked for the Port of Seattle for over 17 years. At the Port, he served as the Vice President of the Port of Seattle Employees Association, and as Chairperson of the Employees Salary Benefits Committee. Edward left the Port of Seattle in 1995 to attend law school at the California Western School of Law. He attended on a Dean’s Scholarship and graduated in 1997, after 2 years. Edward was awarded the California Western School of Law Service Award. During his years at California Western School of Law, he served as the President of the Black Law Students Association, the Selection Committee for the Director of Minority Affairs, and member of the Student and Faculty Activities Committee. After graduating, Edward joined a Seattle personal injury law firm, where he served as a litigation attorney and received recognition awards as attorney of the year and most valuable employee. Edward has extensive experience in personal injury cases, having mediated and arbitrated cases including wrongful death, plane crashes, vehicle collisions, and other personal injury claims.
Beyond his career and education, Edward also served on the Parish Counsel for St. Matthew Parish and was a previous member of the Holy Names Academy Parent Board. He enjoys spending time with his wife of over 40 years and celebrating the accomplishments of his daughter. Edward is always in pursuit of serving the greater good. This, coupled with his career accomplishments, make us confident that he will provide our clients with an excellent experience throughout their personal injury claim and will ensure they receive a fair settlement.
